About Laco

Laco has built up an extensive range of specialized hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and related tools over the years. Laco sells and rents these tools. Laco has acquired a large clientele, consisting of companies in the mining and shipbuilding, offshore, (petro)chemical, steel and food processing, machinery and vehicle fleet maintenance, housing and building industry because of its extensive product range and comprehensive services.

Laco was founded in 1945 by H.J. Lafeber. He manufactured special tools for the shipping, refinery and chemical industries. The original machine factory developed into a commercial enterprise in the 70ies, partly because of the contacts with Ingersoll-Rand. And this small-scaled commercial enterprise grew into the large and specialized company that Laco is today, with branches in Zaandam and Rotterdam. 

Laco Rental

Laco also rents the entire delivery programme, even special orders, in order to make the services rendered to companies even more complete.  Some tools are so extremely specific with regard to their fields of application, that it would not be profitable for companies to purchase those. Laco always offers a solution, even for people who need tools within a short period of time.  Laco rental meets customers’ needs by selling and renting out pneumatic winches and hoists. Even the rental fleet of hydraulic tools and components is impressive.
